ハーブ園作り　開墾作業！Preparing land for herb garden

祖父母は農家ですが、今まで私は全く農業に興味がありませんでした。

しかし、移住してから「体に取り入れるものを自分で用意する」楽しさに気づき、今は興味津々です。

野菜とか作ってもいいんですけど、サルに食べられたらいやだし地域おこしにはあまりつながらない。

ハーブならサルには食べられなさそうだし、ここの気候でも育てられそう。

使い道もたくさんありそう、ということで畑を貸していただきました。

人に手伝ってもらいながら草を払い、畑を耕す。

しばらく耕作していなかった土地なので、土が固くなかなか大変です。

が、一度耕せば土はふかふかに。

それが楽しくてついつい無理をしてしまいます。

ちょっとずつ、をモットーに進めていきたいと思います！

My grandparents are farmers but I was never interested in farming.

But I realized how interesting it is to grow foods since I moved here.

I could grow vegetables but it will not help me to revitalize the community.

I figured herbs will be the best plants to grow here since monkeys will not eat herbs in general and there are so many ways to utilize them.

It is not easy to cultivate this field since the soil is pretty hard.

But it is possible.

My motto is "little by little"!
